Yeah, I'm shocked that he inherited Mutushiko Izumi's role as GFdm head, as I'd much rather see Kozo get the job.

Presumably wanting to practice for V5, a few players, including myself, tried to turn Light off for awhile / several times, but everyone, and I mean everyone, turned it back on in the end.
While it's fair to say that a number of players will continue playing GF in the post V4 (post Light) era with no noticeable change in playing frequency or desire, it shouldn't be an unreasonable nor unrealistic expectation that arcade operators (directly) and Bemani (indirectly) would experience reduction in revenue with Light being taken off starting in GF V5.

When I used it, it was only to play a song I believed was well outside my range. This won't really affect how I play GF anymore than it did before. I just won't attempt songs I highly doubt I'll be able to pass. I'll now only do it when I'm playing with one of the regulars who is better than me. This doesn't mean that I suck, I'm just not in the constant 70+ range. | |

Based on a reply by tQy, the person in charged of the difficulty system in V5 is NAK, who is the Director of V5 and is welcoming feedback. The development team is urging players to send in their thoughts and opinions, so that the team may make adjustments accordingly in future revisions.
Has anyone been able to access BEMANIwiki @ Voiddd in the past few days? I haven't been able to do so since the 19th.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I've NEVER turned on Light once while playing Guitar Freaks, so I could hardly care less.
So are people complaining on how some of the songs are rated (either too high or too low than what they should be?) Electric Lady (I SO hope this is a preview song on V4 CS)

Have you been able to access BEMANIwiki in the past few days? I can see via Google cache that the site is still being updated, but it keeps timing out on me when I try to go to the site directly. I wonder if they are blocking foreign IP ranges now?
