Because she sucks...mostly because she sings in English and her English is absolutely terrible. I'm sure she's fine in Japanese (and I've heard her solo albums, which were mediocre at best). Hell, I'd rather hear Akira Yamaoka...oh wait.

She did the vocals for a few songs in non-GFDM bemani, including LESSON 5, which is utterly fantastic.
And there's nothing wrong at all with Akira Yamaoka's singing voice. I can at least understand why people don't like Erika Mochizuki, but Yamaoka's singing voice is great. | |
