Anyways, yeah, Chimera sounds cool, but the video makes me think post-V quality video.

It's a good song.
Was this a Tomosuke and Asaki collaboration?

I guess so. The guitars sound like what Asaki would do. (Don't believe the Wikipedia pages for now, as this needs confirmation from those who have the pop'n 15 OST)

About CHIMERA, it's a good song. Well, only the first 1:30 and the last 0:35 are the good parts. The middle is meh.

You are a Filipino if you think Sis Bond Chit is a licensed group. Sadly, that doesn't apply for me, even though I'm a Filipino.

Yup pretty much what I meant

I do agree with you that it is not a bad song.

It's just that yeah, some parts of it (musically) don't appeal to me.

It's just like that.

Notechart though seems easy and manageable so i guess that is its good part

I wonder if Rinto shite saku hana no gotoku will be in the OST. It sounds different from the pop'n one. (Long version cut, I believe. Haven't heard it yet)

If Ryuuhyou no sarite gets a long version, I'll fucking buy the OST

Damn

I'm not even sure if I can pass Dynamis extreme by this Friday (with manual bass).

YouTube - Dynamis

The part from 0:29-0:36 is my biggest worry.

It's not the hihat-snare frenzy that I'm worried about at all (definitely not).

I say that because those parts are chicken shit (like those in Right on Time extreme).

I'm talking about those double bass patterns.

I'm scared because...........for someone who has never passed Toccata extreme and 777 ext. in his lifetime (yet has strangely passed Scenario ext. ), this is something that really makes me nervous.

Oh well, I guess the only thing I can do atm is to practice using that youtube video as reference.

Sigh

I hope that I could pass it by Friday (I hope)

P.S.
For peeps who've passed Dynamis extreme (without danger of course)

Any tips or advice that you'd want to share?

It would be most appreciated.

in order of difficulty

1)mr bobby
2)la arena roja
3)brazilian anthem
4)tizona d'el cid
5)toccata
6)you cant do it

3-5 can be switched around depending on ur abilities.

bolded: most important cuz it has the hihat roll with double bass.

Hit the bass with your toe, then lower the heel for the second hit. It feels like a rocking motion.

Tizona is actually really tricky....
that hi-hat roll....

Cymbal, hi-hat, hi-hat, hi-hat, hi-hat, hi-hat, hi-hat, hi-hat, hi-hat, hi-hat, hi-hat
Bass, ..........................bass, bass...........................bass, bass..................
Right, left, right, left, right
As you can see
The double bass pattern starts with your LEFT HAND first....

So......it's not as easy as you think....

BUT

If we hit the first 2 hihat with a double stroke left hand....
The whole problem would be solved.

OR....if you hit the cymbal with your left hand....and start your hihat roll with your right hand....XD
Then I would also have nothing to say....HAHAHA

hm...as far as double bass patterns go, i tend to just leave my foot on bass and tap it twice quickly, the other method i use is i left my foot up a bit and just tap it quickly with my toe
you can also just lift it up entirely and stomp it twice lightly lol

Did Asaki made that? I couldn't clearly see the song banner but I'm assuming that's him with that katakana at the bottom-right of the banner.

And WTF with those forced DOUBLE BASS patterns at the beginning of the song at 1:09-1:19, eight note triplets (a la Ichimoudaijin) at 1:33-1:34, and that mini-blast beat at 1:56?!!! This deserves to be a 99 and the so-called next TL100Sec.
