Well yeah.

Something similar like that.

Though the adv. chart is 92 which is a way big both in number as well as in the skills and technique needed.

Just my two cents though

Man, I dunno, I find it really interesting that people of very high skill are doing poorly at A.DOGMA. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that it now has the fastest rolls in any DM song (confirm/deny?). 147 BPM with 32nd notes, no thanks/yes please.

Who knows.

Maybe it would just take time though.

P.S.
It kinda reminds me back then during 4th mix-5th mix era.

Where we believed that we needed six people to play in order to pass L100s ext.

That was like what more than five or so years ago

Just a thought

147 BPM with 32nd's? Those snare rolls are 16th triplets (24ths for StepMania lingo) which is equal to 16th's in 220.5 BPM. Those forced double bass patterns in the beginning and sparsely around the song makes it a real 99, including those tom fills which are NOT played like that in a real kit.

Tip: Search for George Kollias or Tim Waterson in YouTube in how to do a continuous heel-toe technique which is quite useful for the beginning of that song.

Yeah, I'd say those bass patterns are what make it a 99. You'd need either a double bass, or be very good with the heel-toe technique.

First off, yeah most of the rolls are 24ths, but if you watch the fast snare rolls in the beginning, even freeze-framing them on the youtube video, you can delineate spaces for eight notes to a beat, making them 32nd notes. There are four rolls like this, most in the beginning, one as just a triple-note burst, but they are definitely there. Upon a bit of research and math, this totals to 1176 single strokes per minute, close to the world record for single strokes a couple years back.

Second, Children's Sketchbook and R.P.M Red (I think) both have small areas of bullshit kickdrum stuff, neither of which are 99s (although sketchbook is kinda close, but probably for other reasons). There are some special techniques for taking care of these, heel-toe being one of them, but if you have even a little bit of leg strength you can muscle through them no problem, which is how I roll.

Third, most/all of the tom rolls are ergonomically feasible. The two fast runs in the middle are all doable via left-right rolls, although it doesn't seem like that because they're so fast. It's sorta the same thing with Sketchbook and Concertino at places.

If A.DOGMA is gonna be considered a 99 for any reason, it'll be for the blast beats and the run of c+s r g r c+s r g r runs near the beginning.

Kodomo only has triple blasts of bass though? I saw at least 5 at the beginning of A-Dogma.. Not sure.

They're actually 4-note bass hits in Dogma, but they shouldn't be that much different from triples in terms of technique/muscle power.

For a 90, cockpit and Little Prayer were harder to pass and score. But man, that ending of Ichimoudajin is pretty damn difficult to string together though. A.DOGMA is pretty good, I like the song.

Agreed

But even Ichimoudjin ext. is crazy in itself.

Triple cymbal plus multi-bass action (my gawd).

I wonder how I'll force my way through that one.

Crazy shit indeed.

P.S.
Thanks Checky though for reminding about Kodomo.

Now that you mention it, I still forgot to go back to this song (as I need to determine if I can pass it or not).

Last time I played this song on extreme was on V2 (how many years ago already)

I definitely need to re-visit it again

To me, the bass crap in Dogma looks a hell of a lot faster than the ones in R.P.M. Red. Could be wrong, though.
