I do not really know what to say about it, other than, well, interesting.
GOLD will come with 2nd conclusion!! Just have some trust. I can't always tell my source! But, in the end, you'll see i was right and this conversation won't matter anymore.
Let's hope if it is a US version they do it right. Maybe it's called Guitar Revolution because they'll ve adding THREE more buttons to outdo GH?...yeah, not likely.
At least we can say our interface doesn't look like someone peed napalm on the screen. That's a plus if this turns into an idiots VS elitists argument. (Because let's be honest: most of us who're going to start these arguments will fall into one of those categories.)
ooh that title is a big disappointment. too many revolution games. why couldnt they just call it guitar freaks?
this is awesome news though. unfortunately now we all have to defend a game that people will really think is a guitar hero ripoff
also, the only patent i could find owned by konami having the word "drum" in it was the old and abandoned drummania patent
Assuming it is actually GF for the US, Konami could simply be trying to stay "safe" with this game by naming it Guitar Revolution. Think about it. We have Guitar Hero, which sounds like it glorifies those who play it, and then we turn around and have Guitar Freaks and well you get the idea. Now to you and me, names are names but to a business, such things could affect sales. Plus, from the average consumer's perspective, Revolution is just easy to pick out (especially if you have followed all "Revolution" titles released thus far). Just my two cents

Yeah I know. I read people are already comparing BM US as a Guitar Hero ripoff! It kinda annoys me though that Guitar Hero is getting all the praise and reviews as such an "awesome game" considering they just STOLE the idea from Konami.
Konami should release a Drummania for the US before RedOctane manufactures another rip-off imitation and gets all the praise for that. Besides, I think the American audience would love the game if they did it right.
I think we're going to need a new sticky. "Guitar Freaks didn't rip off Guitar Hero, Drummania can't be released here due to MTV's goddamn patent, and Keyboardmania (insert something here). Thank you."
