Taisetsuna mono, Another World, Andante, My Sweet Darlin', Innocent World, Look Back Again and Black Sheep for license revivals pls Konami Throw in Seven Congratulations, Akai Suzu, Children's Sketchbook, and I will actually love you forever. Judging by how good Silver was, I'm not even writing this with the expectation of being let down | Regarding the one in bold, they already did. Seven Congratulations=Konoko no nanatsu no oiwaini/ the other one not written in English

Three cheers for Black Sheep!! | Yeah, that's what I thought too. Which is cool =D btw. But I just wanted to point it out since noone else had yet.
Personally I'm looking forward to 3(+) more eemall songs complete with new videos in this mix, as well =D

As for V3 CS not repeating any GFDM MP Silver or Gold songs, well we can't be certain of that one.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Sorry, but what does CS stand for? I've noticed Silver has a lot of songs from the Version 3 arcade - unfortunately, it doesn't have some of my faves! I miss Sakuranbo, Monster Tree, and God, at least 4 other songs that own just as hard that I can't remember the names of. I BET Gold will take some more songs from V3 that did not make it on Silver. I don't exactly know which version that arcade is (it's the blue one). I always thought that was V3, but I guess not.
2 months is not a long time. Hopefully, If I don't cry and give up on Silver, I should be pretty brushed up by then to really enjoy Masterpiece Gold.

2 months is not a long time. Hopefully, If I don't cry and give up on Silver, I should be pretty brushed up by then to really enjoy Masterpiece Gold. | I'm not certain but my belief is that CS is the term used for console releases of the bemani games, whereas AC/S is usually used for arcade releases of the bemani games, FYI.
To explain the Masterpiece Series to you. Konami released CS versions of GF/DM like this:
Guitarfreaks
Drummania
Guitarfreaks 2nd (I think?)
GF3rd/Drummania2nd
GF4th/Drummania3rd
then...nothing. For years.
Meanwhile, they continued to release AC versions of GF/DM (duh.) So, from GF/DM 5th AC->11th there were no CS releases. Because of this, there are tons of songs (notably, BobbySue and Skinny Jim, which I'd bet your name is related to, or that's just coincidence) that have NEVER been released to the console versions of the GF/DM games.
To rectify that (and to make extra cash) Konami released GF/DM Masterpiece Silver, which was never an AC mix. It is only a CS mix of the GF/DM series, yet it features songs ONLY in GF/DM 5th->11th mixes. Because MSilver lacks a number of "must-haves," however, we predicted (correctly it would seem) that Konami would make a Masterpiece Gold, based off of the same ideology: Use the unused songs from the AC GF/DM 5th->11th mixes and compile some of the best into a new CS version.
So neither MSilver nor theoretically MGold will feature ANY songs that originated from GF/DM 1->4, or from GF/DM V->V3. Now, when you play V3 in the arcade you might find songs that begun in GF6th/DM5th (for example, Bobby Sue and Skinny Jim), but that song didn't originate on V3. Therefore, it is eligible for inclusion in GF/DM MGold. However, Chance!, also from V3, originated from V3, therefore it would (theoretically) not be eligible for entry into the Masterpiece series.
Does that help at all?
Also, there's no GF/DM V5. Yet. The list of current AC releases is:
Guitarfreaks
Guitarfreaks 2nd
Drummania
GF3rd/Dm2nd
GF4th/Dm3rd
GF5th/Dm4th
GF6th/Dm5th
GF7th/Dm6th
GF8th/Dm7th
GF9th/Dm8th
GF10th/Dm9th
GF11th/Dm10th
GFV/DmV
GFV2/DmV2
GFV3/DmV3

I hope I get my heaping helping of sketchbook in this one. CiB comes a bit second after that.
I also would like akai suzu and rolling1000toon. DD4 and 5 is a must.
Oh BobbyS, just so you know, there's some repetitions in V2 from V, but all the new songs in it makes up for it.

| I'm also having my fingers crossed for akai suzu.
Rolling1000toon and DD5 are already featured in V2, so i don't think they'll be putting those in Gold's songlist. (unless they're planning on putting repeats from the previous CS releases)

Other stuff that would be nice to play:
琉球ランデブー
Too late two
涙のregret (Full Version)
Durandal
Mad Blast
and jizz will fill the room if they put 明鏡止水 on there. btw, what the hell is the big deal about akai suzu? I heard it the other day and didn't think it was so special. Does it have a BA chart or something?

It's good to hear of this release, recently getting more into GF7 AC and MPS at home courtesy of a friend. Echoing revivals of Andante (PLEASE), Akai Suzu (best Asaki piece), Model DD4, Right On Time, Getaway, Bring Back, Rebirth, Innocent World, and Right On Time.
Was Durandal ever on an actual GF arcade mix? I've always found it better than Dragon Blade, but couldn't find it on GF V2 at TGA last summer.

I have total faith that this game is going to kick absolute ass. Not been this excited about a bemani release for years. Please let there be a Konamistyle!

It would be worse should Taisetsu na mono and Toccata appear in it, given that those are in V3 AC. On the other hand, should Black Sheep not show up in Gold, I'm expecting it to be in V3.
* 2/3 of Ai Suzuki's songs are in Silver.
