I think DM on the Wii could work. They'd just need a stand that shows where the pads are, and have it so the remotes can sense the locations. Then, you just need to drum in that area and it could work.
Although, playing with the remotes probably would be more difficult than playing with drumsticks due to the design and size.
there's a video of someone playing gdamania (very badly) with two wiimotes somewhere on youtube. major problem is no-one's tried to do automatic detection of which drum you're trying to hit yet, so you have to press a button on the wiimote to change drums.
I mean, they are too cluncky to use as drumsticks, and then drum-pad recognition would probably be hard to code. Also, what would become of Guitarfreaks? Anyway, get back on topic people
There was no "acquisition". Nintendo and Konami both bought a licence to cover and use the same song, Road of Major are still the only ones who own it. Konami and Nintendo only made their own covers.
Same applies to Shanghai Honey. A lot of the music in GF/DM has also been licenced for anime, TV shows, etc.
