DD8 is cool and all but I'm still really hopeful for a boss song to end Extra Rush. Especially since DD8 looks really easy on drums.

say, shn and estp all used 3 sticks. (shn and estp had videos to prove it. i couldnt find say's video)

as for unco. he has no other song in e rankings, so i believe its a 2-player effort.

(edit: damn. both videos haf been removed. only shnchobi's v3 daydream 90%P FC is still inside.)

You can hit the bottom of the cymbal and it'll trigger and won't break?

I didn't know that. I'll have to try that on the 4th Mix near me next time.

actualli, hitting e bottom of e cymbal would possibly shift the sensor. however, with e proper amount of force and technique, nuthing will happen.

I tend to hit the bottom of the cymbal by accident quite a lot, so it's nice that it works

I guess someone did the same thing and got the idea for the three-stick technique.

we mess around with it in van occasionally but never can get it to work...no-one here's passed daydream ext with any method, heh. I've got to the second cymbal/snare section after the slow hi-hat/snare breakdown once, using one hand on the cymbal the whole time (I can't do the one-hand / two-hand switching method).

Chances are if it's a 4th mix.. the cymbal will not be sensitive enough to allow the 3sticks method to work.. even on our machine, which is in quite nice condition, the method will not work at all.. hitting the underside or edge of the cymbal only registers about 25% of the time.. I want to go ahead and say this is only possible on machines with "perfect" maintenance, (i.e those in Japan).. but I'm sure theres a few out there that might work.

Weckl is amazing (with Mutsuhiko Izumi my favourites from GF/dm) but the pop'n 15 song sucks (IMO)! (All the songs of Weckl for pop' 6, 9-14 are amazing)

checky: it works pretty well at e-spot and circuit circus. I guess it wouldn't be good enough to get an FC but it would certainly work for a pass (assuming you were playing perfectly). at least, last time I checked at e-spot (few months ago) and circuit circus (couple of weeks ago).
