So I completely missed out on V2 and V3 arcade (and no V3 CS either), but I'll be going home this week where we now apparently have a V4 nearby.

Any links to a songlist that would show what songs would be there without eamuse/eemall/etc.? Guitar Freaks Pager only shows new songs, but I want to make sure my favorite songs haven't been cut out like PARTY HARD was in V3

First impressions of new songs leaves something to be desired. Am I missing anything or should Vertigo, 極東史記, and Leaving All Behind be the only new songs I look forward to?

Also, has rmz flown over to Japan and punched Konami execs in the balls yet?

revolution, deadman's bed, model ft2/miracle, jake in the box, mirage residence, samurai, apxn, purple storm as non-encore, zigzag life (I think, not sure if that's e-amuse-required), feel the breeze, and a few others.

I believe the non e-amuse machines are basically treated as Extra Rush Lv. 1 machines, with Zigzag Life, Revolution, and FT2 Miracle as the Extras and Kyokutou Shiki as the Encore, and that's it. Everything else is in there as normal playable songs, including apxn, Purple Storm, Mirage Residence, etc.

Yep. Which makes Kyokutou Shiki (ext) borderline inaccessible for DM players who aren't very high level, as it's pretty tough to make the encore with those choices of extra stage. Pity, as it's a nice song (I played it on basic just to check it out).

If you want to check these songs out but don't have an emuse machine, buy V3 for your PS2 today! Fly High sucks (IMO), and Ougonzaki (黄金崎) is TOTAL WIN!!

Did anyone notice that 黄金岬 is really pronounced as "Kogane Misaki" (こがね　みさき), rather than Ougonzaki?

Yeah, I was about to say something. But, that mistake is probably brought on by people running it through edict. It only has one entry for those three kanji, and that's Ougonzaki.

I actually enjoy Fly High as a basic simple song for GF and DM, so I don't mind it. Summer Sun and Mister Magic on the other hand...ew. I always told people when they unlocked those songs, it's like winning 2 cents in the lottery.

Tabidachi on the other hand...mmm...R#1 also has a pretty fun GF chart. DM was...all right I guess. But for a Colors song, I kinda liked it.

yea i have to agree with Mister Magic the guitars just sound like ass

Fly High only seems nostalgic for me because until GF/DM V came out i whored out gitadora! so alot of the songs on that mix are just stuck in me head

The EXT is like that IIRC, I think I enjoyed the ADV chart though. The drum chart...I can't remember being anything special.

Oh BTW, I don't know if I should've made an announcement about this or not, but Konami is letting ANYONE give feedback and suggestions about GFdm series (particularly, those that have played V4 in any country) using the feedback/suggestions form that's being used for the US Location Test.
