in that case, why did you write the rest of the post, in which you yourself compare said apples to said oranges?

Because while they're not an easy comparison, they're both still sweet fruits. You can draw some very basic comparisons but nothing of much depth.

I'm kind of wondering if the first XG release will have the default damage value lowered to help people adjust to this better, then subsequent ones will be pushed up. Does anyone know if IIDX 1st Style had a lower default damage rate for reference?

Have you noticed the BGM of Model FT2? Listen closely because this song is one example of adding the hi-hat pedal into the charts, especially during the intro and the 2nd verse before the solo.

And in Ichimoudaijin and OVER THE LIMIT. What if the Hi-hat pedal also has another bass function aside from the hi-hat pedal hits? Who knows?

Wow I've been away from these boards for a while now and I haven't even played V6 yet. But damn that setup looks freakin nice. I just hope it'll make it's way here to the states.

And also would this mean that Konami will finally be making their first music sim game for the PS3? With the new setup for both games I'm hoping that they do so.

"I just hope it'll make it's way here to the states."

You just have to convince your local arcade it's worth the cost...somewhere around $15k I reckon?

Well if anything, I'll bet the owner of AI will most likely get this machine since he's been known to get alot of bemani machines. I'm also hoping CGL will also have interest in picking this up since they also have the expenses to do so.
