Is it possible for the sides since the two straps could restrict your movements?

Couple new things from BemaniWIKI

-Your life gauge has to be past a certain point by the end of the song to pass it (think IIDX, Pop'n)

-On GF, Basic uses 3 buttons, Advanced uses 4 buttons, and Extreme uses all 5 buttons.

Hmmmm, interesting. Seems like all the Bemani games will make you get 80% or whatever to clear, making it harder. Now only DDR lets you pass w/o the %% requirement.

So is Open now part of Normal, or does it still have its own separate charts? Hell, is there FINALLY Open notes in Bass & hopefully long songs??

BemaniWIKI says Open Pick Mode has been eliminated, but has not said anything yet on whether or not they put open notes into normal charts.

So will Basic only have a 3-note chart lane in the past & then Advance would have 4-note & then Extreme have 5, or will all diff. have the 5-note lane (i.e Guitar Hero style)?

I really hope they keep Open notes. They seriously need to put them in Bass & long songs (considering you can't play Open or Bass for long songs) to make them funner/harder. Plus, as I recall, Guitar Hero doesn't have Open notes (unless someone wants to correct me on this).

Since World Tour, Guitar Hero has had Open notes exclusively for Bass. I liked the idea since it set Bass apart from Guitar just a little bit. Hopefully, they integrate Open notes into something for XG.

Also, needing to be over a certain amount of life to pass.. this game gets a bit harder every day. I'm beginning to think we've been on Easy mode all these years D:

The life gauge requirement is the first disappointing thing I've heard about this game if it's true.

BemaniWIKI's new updates:

-This is the successor to the V series. The location test staff have said there are no plans to make a V7.

-Pressing the "HELP" button on the cabinets will bring up an explanation screen.

-The vibration function on wailing can be turned off.

And...the price being quoted by the staff for the machines is 2,000,000 yen a piece. In USD, that's about $20,000.

Hey,you said something wrong.

BEMANI wiki:

BSC・ADV=4ボタン・EXT=5ボタン+オープンという構成に変更

Basic and Advanced charts both use four buttons. The fifth button and open pick notes can only be seen in Extreme charts.

And I'm so sure that I did see yellow objects in Basic charts.

Ah...They updated that part I think, because I don't remember them mentioning open notes when I translated it at first. I could have sworn at first they said basic was three buttons.
