I personally would like to see some of the older GF/dm songs get revived like Mr.MACHINE, Midnight Special and P.P.R.

CS Site has officially opened. GuitarFreaksV3 / DrumManiaV3
Nothing too special up yet other than the already confirmed release date of 10/4/07, but I think they do mention there will be CS exclusives as well.

I think the bigger deal is that they mention that there will be preview songs from V4.
Also, "surprising/amazing revivals" or something like that, if I'm reading that kanji right. Songs we haven't seen yet and/or songs from 1st-4th, I hope.

Konami sure didn't waste any time announcing the Special Edition. GuitarFreaks & DrumMania V3 Special Edition
Looks like it contains:
-The game
-Musician's Room "RARE" Collection CD
-Some sort of audio desktop calendar. Apparently it will play sounds when buttons are pushed? Someone else might want to take a crack at the Japanese here.
-Special collector's box (probably similar to the one that was released with V)
Game info:
The SP edition site also offers the first screens of the game. I was wondering how they were going to handle this, but it does look like Battle mode is included somehow. It looks like they are pre-storing the data like recent IIDX CS releases, but we'll have to wait for more information regarding that. Konamistyle offers some more info about the game. Apparently, it will have the most songs on a CS installment to date. They mention that there will be many more CS songs than V2 but that's not a hard feat to tackle considering V2 only had 2. And as confirmed before, V4 preview songs will appear.
