So far, from what I can glean from the site

• Unlock order is SATY(default)→IZUMI→JIMMY→OHJI→TINA
• Once you beat the character, you unlock their avatar, which can be equipped in the Option menu (Emblem's still the sexiest ;3, though gothSATY is fine too)
• To unlock each character's SPECIAL BATTLE, beat them on OPEN. Bass battle unlock is in the same order as above
• After you beat each character in Guitar, Bass, and Drums, a new "Final Battle" option will appear

FINAL BATTLES (all on hardest difficulty)

• SATY - 戻らない恋
• IZUMI - MODEL FT2 Miracle version (woohoo!)
• JIMMY - ミラージュ・レジデンス
• OHJI - Purple storm
• TINA - GET READY

Beat them all, and you get the final V4 title 任務完了

Edit: btw, Izumi picks the [i]OPEN/I] chart for FT2MV. Have fun!

you'll get win easily when you're still at battle class c3 or under!!
then th e cpu will not be so crazy to full mirage or ft2mv

No, I think he has a point... imagine a person at ~600SP playing FT2MV... they'll probably die very early on. If you can pass it, I guess that means you win

Mirage Residence isn't *that* hard... the main problem w/ it is the insanely simple chords before the streams -- I find that I get too used to the timing for those easy things, and end up either picking too fast or changing too slow (or both!). Dunno if it's the same for you... I know I have this problem because I can usually get a ~200 combo going from the beginning of the song, only to have that combo be wasted in an A grade >_<

One thing that really helps w/ FT2MV is FT2 bass ver. Play it a few times, then try FT2MV -- the doubles picking section of FT2 bass help you calibrate your picking speed. I also bob my guitar up and down in time with the double-single-double-single switching

Mirage is decent for me though. ONLY SRA. i cant "shred" on double picking. im a reset picker, unfortunately.

y'all know Izumi will use FT2MV for his Final Battle
does anyone know which song is best to use for best chance to win

personally, i just don't understand MV EXT[G]
the closest score i got was lost by 10,000 by using CASSANDRA EXT[G] - TYPE PERFECT, i think i got 1G in CASSANDRA (i use SRA for FT2MV, it seems "abit" easier for me)

pick a song with

- LOTS of notes
- that you can get excellent, or very very high P-rate

I suggest that Gylay song, although I think it sounds like ass... maybe you'll like it *shrug* or maybe Axis, if you can FC the ADV version.

then you might have a fighting chance... XD

I thought that Izumi challenges you with MVFT2[O]? Either way, the only real hard part in the song are the time changes and the singles ladder in the middle of the song after the fast [single-single-double-double]x2 and the [single-double-single-double] <<slowdown>> [single-double-single-double] section. Everything else is technical fingering that's found in other songs -- SRA actually makes the extended single-double pattern in the beginning/end of songs harder because there are more changes. If you have the timing down, that section shouldn't be that hard. Besides, the first two of them are single-open, so if you're used to playing open, it shouldn't take much effort at all to combo it
