Btw, I guess you are right about those songs especially with the Ai Suzuki stuff (though I often used to think about its "right-on-time-like" patterns more than that).

For those continuous 16th's on the hi-hat with the snare on each 2nd or 4th eight note, try to subdivide (imagine removing the hi-hat notes) your snare hit with your right foot on the bass so that you won't throw off.
