help a n00b out

I have 2 questions that have probably been answered 100 times by now, but I am looking for an up to date source for Q. #1, so older answers might not be as helpfull. If they are, please point me in the direction of the previous thread and feel free to lock/delete this.

1. I am looking for a Drummania controller, but my typical source for imports (play-asia) has had it listed as out of stock/print. Are these controllers no longer being made? If they are, what is a good source to import them from? Price is somewhat of an issue, I don't want to pay alot ($100+ before shipping), but I know these can be hard to find. If they are out of print, what would your reccomend for the Drum portion of the game? I've read reviews of the Topway controllers, and if thats the only path I can go down, I guess it'll have to do.

2. I started playing Drummania on the 10th mix, but that hasn't come out for home consoles. I was wondering if the following songs were ever released on home versions of the game:

Dragonblade
Merry-Go-Round
The Handsom Jet song
And also, I believe it is the Road of Major song (not sure, but the title image has a blue background with a boy with headphones on if that helps any).

to question #1
You have basically 3 options here.
-The worst being you could get a topway controller. I've heard nothign good about these and thats all i'm going to say

-The second best being you could get a drummania konami original controller (DM KOC). You can check on ebay but your best bet for this is going to be to ask Jumbo in the Marketplace thread here on bemanistyle (Click here to goto that thread). Just ask Jumbo to find you one, thats what i did and he found it like next day pretty much.

-The Best Option you have for getting a controller for this is to get a Yamaha DTXplorer Electronic Drum set. This is also the most expensive choice, and expect to spend upwards of $500 on this. It's expensive but it's the most arcade like you will ever get.

things to take from this are DON'T GET A TOPWAY UNLESS YOU HAVE TO, ask Jumbo for a DM KOC, or spend $500 ish on a DTXplorer

as for the second question you had, the only Console (CS) version I have is Masterpiece Gold. I know that Dragon Blade is on this version.

Masterpiece Gold is good.

Try searching ebay for controllers.

Dragon Blade - Masterpiece Gold, but it's one of the extra stage songs.

Luvly Merry-Go-Round - Masterpiece Silver, on the default songlist

The Handom Jet song - If you're talking about this song that's all pink with bats, a boy and a girl, then it's in the first V, on the default songlist.

Road of Major song - If you're talking about this song with the girl with freckles and pink headphones with yellow stars, then it's in Masterpiece Gold, on the default songlist.

naw, I'm a noob. I've only been playing for 2 years. The only reason I started on 10th mix is because my local arcade imported it around the same time I started playing. I have no idea why they decided to import an older version, or not upgrade it. Thanks for the help guys, I know my questions are redundant, but they needed to be asked.

They probably got it for cheap because, to upgrade it from 10th, it needs new hardware and no one probably wants to pay for that.

I could've said Yamaha DTXpress III complete (with all the drum parts and stuff).

Though since you're on a tighter budget, well then.................

You could ask DJDAO.

Granted, I'm personally not too familiar with his controllers for other games (since his specialty is more on BM IIDX and Pop N' controllers).........but it doesn't hurt to give it a shot.
