Akira Jimbo? Need more resources. This album, although amazing, can still be a hit or miss to diehard fans IMO.

the drums on One Phrase Blues do sound a bit like Jimbo's style, but it was Suganuma who played the drums throughout the whole album. Suganuma's good also, he's versatile and can play many genres.

also partly because of the cost of this album, i would say it's a miss. too little tracks, and only two caught my eye(or ears), one phrase blues and over there. one phrase blues was awesome, while over there pales in comparison to the Gitado Live version....

now hoping for a Weckl album or a 2nd Izumi album

hah Weckl and Sasaki album plz!
and to hollowman: MU-DAI and Highway Star!!!
IMO the only filler tracks on this album are ringo to hatchimitsu and birth

yeah, the more i listen, the more i like the songs (MU-DAI, Highway Star)
