I remember when I felt the same way as you when I first played the games! xD
Learning curve's a bitch, but it didn't take me too long to get used to the key positions.....I'd say it took me a couple days to get the basics down. I play the game with one hand, just like I do BM I/IIDX. After a couple weeks:
Mighty Guy [REAL] - MySpaceTV Videos: Keyboardmania - Mighty Guy [R] by Trip Machina
Carezza [Light+] - MySpaceTV Videos: Keyboardmania - Carezza [L+] by Trip Machina
Now, I've gotten a "GOOD PLAY" and a "GREAT PLAY", but never have I gotten a "MARVELOUS", however (see below):
...this is impossible --> YouTube - Keyboardmania - Carezza con una mano

Also, to Trip Machina: I believe that THIS would be a bit harder to do. O_O
Actually come to think of it, they both probably had those songs memorized, but still.....

Actually come to think of it, they both probably had those songs memorized, but still..... | KBM is probably the easiest game to memorize songs, because it's not just pushing arbitrary buttons (at least most of the time)

I know that sounds redundant but that should help, or simply find a video tutorial or something heh.
See yaz bye. | |

The only ones I've seen on shelves are used. If I see something I'll shout out though.
