Default I. Hate. Topway.

I do not have the money to shell out for any ASC yet, but I can't find any Topway that isn't out of stock or under $200.00 anymore. I used to find them for $50.00 but... eh.
I ordered one weeks ago from Toys n Joys, and never heard back from them. If they don't send it soon, and I find a relatively cheap, in stock controller, I'm canceling probably. Anyone got any suggestions?

if you need a guitar controller probably getting a KOC will fit your budget, its around $50 right now, and if you r looking for drum controller $80 will be enough to bring a DM KOC (which is better than topway)

Buy a Guitar Hero controller and mod it. If you're decent with a soldering iron it's not that hard to do, and I could probably whip up a wiring diagram in a few minutes if you need it.

A Guitar Hero controller would be best bet. Konami shit is gettign expensive and if your not getting an ASC, go with a GH controllers. Topway drummania controllers suck. Anyone could've told you that.. there's nothing really more.

Lord help you if you ordered from Toys 'n' Joys and didn't call them. Following up on orders is not their strongest suit.

And yeah, the drum controllers (while they get the job done) are not the finest things to use. I would second Guitar Hero controller modding at this point.

Still have to remember that the guitar hero control doesn't work nicely with the GF because of that annoying left held down function for identification thing

I swear that the foot pedal of the Topway drum controller is taken from a sewing machine foot pedal.

That's why I said "mod it". It's a decent amount of work gutting and rewiring the GH controller, but well worth it because it works amazingly well when you're done.

Hi guys, I'm a bit new at this forum, can you point me to a thread regarding DM and GF controllers for the PS2/PC?

This thread has info on all the different controllers that work for PS2.

All these controllers also work with the PC, except that you will need a PS2->USB converter for the Konami official controller. If you want to play DM primarily and be able to play songs from every mix or custom songs, use PC. If you have a PS2 and want to play guitarfreaks primarily, get DMV or MPS for PS2.
