A lot of expert players use phrases like 88/11 or 96/1 to describe their scores. Is that %perfects/%greats?

Usually, yeah. Although there's ambiguity when people (like me ;x ) post just the percentage, eg 94% on Funky Sonic World - which some people might post to mean 94% perfects on it, but in my case, it just means 94% perfects + greats.

Strange, I would have thought 94% by itself would be referring to the overall skill % on the song. The ambiguities continue D:

Normally for me, i'll say 94% P+G, which means perfects + greats.

or 95-2, means 95% perfect 2% great..

Or 95% skill.

Maybe that's just because it's how I do it in Pop'n :X

Haha. 96% greats and 1% goods on a song would be ridiculous. Posting just the number by itself i.e: 94% or 89% is just the player implying that they missed S or A by 1% respectively. And I guess by Dewgy's definition I'm an expert player, cool =].

You can 100% a few things I can't even pass. That's expert enough for me. :P

EDIT: oh haha and Cstar was obviously using a Pop'n scale of note grading :P
