Default Just got my DM KOC and I have a couple of questiosn

Ok so i just my my DM KOC in yesterday and I'm absolutly enjoying it. I know I know, it's nothing like the DTX setups, but this works for me. Anyway, I do have just a few questions if anyone would care to help me with them

1] Am I the only person that has a problem hitting the actual pads on this thing? I keep finding myself hitting the plastic (red area) of the controller than the pad. Though i guess it will take some getting used to playing it, so as not to do that.

2] What are some good mixes for the PS2? I currently only have DM/GF: Masterpiece Gold, and have found that I really only like a select handfull of the songs. Is there any of the CS releases that just have an amazing track listing?

3] This kinda goes with Question #2 but, what songs on Masterpiece Gold do you like? Some suggestions as to what others play on this mix is what i'm looking for here. I currently play "Puzzle" alot b/c i really like the songs.....and also Bobby Sue And Skinny Jim (i think thats what it's called).

Thanks for any advice in advance : D

About middle way into the song i keep failing. The chart is very simple, it's just high hat, snare, high hat, snare, etc....I start out getting perfects on this part and then it goes to greats then misses......I really dont' think i'm getting off time. Does the BPM increase here or Is it really just me, i can't tell really

No, it's dead regular.

A lot of new players have difficulty keeping a beat when the snare comes every two hits instead of every four, at first. Keep practicing and you'll find you get better even though you swear you're doing it right all the time.

yea every time i played it, I got a little further along, but it's always somewhere in that spot that i fail.

Also are there any good songs to play that have technical patterns that i could practice on. Like Three Worms is has a more jazzy pattern and it forces me to realize that the snare isn't always a 1/4 or 1/8 note (keep in mind that alli have is DM: MPG)

dart: i don't know the songlist or the basic charts that well, but anything jazz or ska is good for developing your technical skills.

Quick question guys. I'm missing the screw that goes in the center of the KOC stand (after they form the X). What length and size should I buy as a replacement. Thanks.
