Just Quick Questions about controller Modding

i'm actually going to try mod GH controller to play GH since ASC is too expensive...

and I wonder the wireless guitars can be modded too.

Well...ASC is the best choice, but currently i don't really wanna spend 300 bux on ASC.


P.S : by the way, do I need to mod the buttons for V3? I heard you can change the keys on V3 so I guess I only need to solder out the left key on GH controller.

You can change the button configuration on Masterpiece Silver/Gold, V2 and V3. The mapping is

Pick - Up and Down
Wailing - L2
Red - R2
Green - Circle
Blue - Triangle

That will make it so you can play songs using the top 3 keys on the GH controller. You will still have to navigate the menus with a dualshock since the GH controller has left soldered to be on constantly. It's annoying but better than nothing.

Or I can just solder out the left down, that way it will stop move up constantly.

Well, even if I solder rest two keys for left, I still gonna have to choose songs with only upward-way...

lol sounds like using DSC is much reasonable...
