Keyboardmania/USB input

If I were to purchase Keyboardmania, would I be able to play it on my PS2? I have an American PS2, but I modified it a while back to play import games, IIDX Red works just fine, but I've never had a game or any other hardware which required the use of my USB inputs. I'm just not sure whether my playstation will accept the hardware or not.

i have used the KBM usb contller on a US ps2 modded with both swap magic and a messiah mod (new style and old style ps2)
