I'm trying to decide if i should buy the Konami drummania controller over the topway, but i was wanting to hear what some topway owners had to say about their controller, the money saved would be really nice but i don't want to be constantly pissed at my controller and end up buying a konami one anyways.

The sensors works decently for the main part of the controller.
However, he bass pedal for the operates like a sewing machine foot pedal, and the pedal broke too easily. So it's Autobass for me from now on.
If you want better quality, then you might want to save your money for the Konami controller.

topway is insensitive, the pads feel like they are made of chewing gum and car tires, and it smells pretty bad.

Not to mention if you miss the pads while playing, you'll end up hitting the plastic which makes a really loud sound and it can get annoying if you live in a apartment/dorm or have your parents yell at you for banging on the thing too loud. I usually play in the daytime to avoid the yelling.
In the end, your best bet is to settle with the KOC. Try to find a stand that's suitable for the controller because it doesn't come with it. I use my piano chair along with some books to make a decent stand. I autobass myself because the foot pedal just doesn't cut it for me. Hope this will help make your decision.

You just have to kind of have your foot further forward on it than you'd think, so gap between the ball of your foot and toes is like, on that little bar of plastic and the ball f your foot is hitting the top of the sensor.

The bass pedal is crap.
But the other pads are decent.
Overall it's pretty alright for the price.
