Default Losing Skill in DM

I have been playing guitar freaks recently and I have gotten better at it. I can do songs up to 70s (still not that great)

When I got better at Guitar Freaks I noticed I started to suck at Drummania. I failed onihime the last 4 or 5 times I played it and other songs....

ratio of fail to number of times played:

Funky Sonic world 50% fail (keep dropping sticks)
Model DD4 60% fail
Sketchbook 25% fail

I notice I suck more at DM when...

I switch to a new machine
I use different sticks or the ones provided at the arcade
I am pissed off
I am too tired
I am getting better at Guitar Freaks
or just occasionally out of bad luck I am on a losing streak

who else has that problem?

Yes. Since playing both about a year ago (I'm still in BSC, since I keep chasing SS on both), fast-forward to now, I noticed I couldn't SS since in dm.

Failing Model DD4 is acceptable in my eyes. I've only passed it once and failed it maybe 10 times :{

I have the same problem especially when I change from the machine I regularly play at to some other machine somewhere else. Guess I'm just too seasoned to the machine I play on.

Or when I'm too tired after a long day or something, my playing just doesn't cut it.

Coming back to drummania after playing guitarfreaks for a while (say, abut two weeks or so), I find that I don't normally lose too much skill...I still can't do the same old songs and the songs I normally can play well on I find myself getting the same grades. Then again I've never actually taken an extremely long hiatus from drummania before.

Oh me! me! me! i spend hours on dm when i get the chance, and i usually progress in difficulty from 30s towards 90s on a dm session. During then, i wont get tired in songs like tamayura since im 'warmed up'. but the next day, my arms get tired on songs like Kanashimi wa yuki no you ni. It's so irritating.

Couldn't some of this be blamed on the machine? Sensors may change sensitivity over time, and pads can wear out so that your sticks don't bounce off them as much as before. If you have new drumsticks, that could be part of it too. Then again, maybe it's just old age. Sure, you can blame yourself for most of it, but maybe not all of it.

Haha same here. I could do up to 75s in GF, but now that I play DM I start to suck at Guitar Freaks. So, I play Guitar Freaks a bit more. And, Im way batter In DM than in GF, which I've been playing for 2 years. I've been playing DM for 2 months, so yeah this is pissing me off aswell.
