Default Maintainence for Your (GF/DM) Controllers - Share your tips!

I decided to ask opinions from people who owns a GF ASC controller of what things I should do to keep it in a good condition... Since it's worth quite a bit I'm sure people who owns them would like to know too. And frankly, since it's only been a month since I own them, I don't really know well the do's and dont's of my controller - except that I always try not to "abuse" the pick to play some notes (trust me I try my best not to even in songs like Model DDs lol)...

Anyways, this thread can also be a medium for other types of Bemani (session) controllers too and can also be used for people to ask for tips in repairing their controllers.

Thanks for reading and I hope this can be useful to others.

Maintaining the GF ASC is mostly prevention.

#1 Don't eat or drink, (or allow others to) while holding the guitar.

If it's dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth. Don't get anything in the buttons.

Do not use rubbing alcohol or any harsh cleaners.
