Miyuki Kunitake album?

I was looking at Miyuki Kunitake's website and noticed she apparently worked on an album, apparently with some other guy. It's called Natural Crayon, and is available at http://www.naturalcrayon.com/

So, has anyone heard of it yet? They have song samples on the website, some of them sound pretty good! Heh, I wonder if they'd consider shipping a copy out to the States.

I myself have come across this website before, but I always thought that Natural Crayon was the name of a group she's involved with. Upon looking at this again (and babel fishing this time), it appears that it really is the name of the group as well as the name of their first album. I've also come across this website many weeks ago, so my guess is that it should either be available either now or pretty soon. I, however, couldn't find it on P-A. I really want to know where I can get this too.

EDIT: Just checked the wiki. It says the album has been out since February 2006.

As much as I love her songs on the GF/DM series, I have no interest at all for hearing her outside, not-composed-by-Izumi work, which I expect to be generic, I've-style crap. XD

I don't think it sounds that bad, listening to the samples, although it's only short bursts. I dunno, I'm a big fan of her songs in GFDM!

From what I could read, you can either buy the album in a few stores in Japan, or you can email them and they'll send you a copy for 2000yen+shipping. They could probably mail one out elsewhere for more shipping, I'd imagine. I'm debating whether or not to try and ask.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking too. Miyuki Kunitake is awesome in GF/DM but mostly because Mutsuhiko Izumi composes her songs.

Guys, remember that Naoki did compose 2 of her songs outside of GF/DM, one of them (Aoi Shoudou) being one of my favorite songs of all time. However, it still holds true that these works outside of Bemani will be completely different. I am optimistic though since I believe Miyuki's voice to be good in general, which is well demontrated in the long version of Be Proud.

erm, ao shoudou was her? I could have sworn it was yuki...or wait, i guess that's it XD didnt sound too much like her though with all the programming.

Izumi is the backbone of her sound. The only reason I play her songs is because they are difficult most of the time but other then that i dont see anything special in her vocals.

To be fair though, your voice doesn't need any particularly distinctive qualities to make your songs good. Miyuki's voice is good enough, more often than not. I think I've liked just about every song she's done, really.
