Need help here

I usually develop blisters on my right thumb after two or three consecutive games of GuitarFreaks. I am usually following Pico's method of alternate strumming but it still aches like hell. Need advices please.

Yeah, man. Two or three games? Are we talking standard 3+1 or something? D: Either you have wussy girl artiste hands or you're picking way too hard (or both).

Then again, maybe the rest of us play too many console games and have thick fingerskin now? :P

I never have any CS games and each Standard game I play are usually four stages, plus one for the Extra if I am lucky. Actually, I sometimes pick hard when I'm struggling at 40-50's.
