Default Not good enough as Asaki?

Okay, Mushroom Boy is definitely arrange and sung by Asaki himself, and Ru-ru-ru is arranged by him too, according to JP wikipedia (whether he sing it is questionable). However, they are listed under a different artist name (as with eveyrone in Konami music division, which have tons of artist name). Of course, we also have Onihime, Die Zauberflaut

While Mushroom Boy I can somewhat understand, why Ru-ru-ru? The song is just straight Visual kei/ Gothic, which is Asaki's style... And the other songs, which is completely within his style.

I think what I want to know is, underwhat situation does the artist use other pseudonym?

Mainly to credit the vocalist, I suppose. Ru-Ru-Ru, by the way, is almost DEFINITELY not sung by Asaki, especially considering that the vocalist is female...

Asaki is Rotten Blatch (artist of Micro fin) too

Maybe he likes using different names for different styles. Sort of how some music producers have a number of 'projects', all with different names.

Die Zauberflote is by more people than just Asaki (Tomosuke was also involved and someone else who I've forgotten). Onihime I'm not sure about.

Also, when Asaki covered BEAMS and ロマンス he did so under the pseudonym of CAPTAIN ROCK.

The style of the song, yes. Kagonotori definitely isn't an Orange Lounge song... (on a random note, the alias they took for the song literally means "Orange Lounge" :P) and there's Micro fin, which is wicked awesome.

Maybe one artiste can only appear once in the game as "him/herself" and needs to use psuedonyms for additional songs, or to credit the vocalist (as mentioned)?

What my take on this is that 573 doesn't want the game to look like it comprises of only so little in-house artiste...somewhat like an illusion they wish to create that Konami's DMgf section is actually populated by many "talented artistes"?

Just like 明鏡止水, カゴノトリ was Tomosuke composing the drums and synthetics, with Asaki on the bass and guitar.

Onihime I BELIEVE was all asaki, with some choir for the background. I'm not 100 percent sure though, but I think so because there isn't anyone elses style in it.

Actually, I thought it was "Orange Deluxe Suite" or something like that, which I considered to be a thinly-veiled reference to being Tomosuke.

Well, the thread title implied "OMFG ASAKI IS GODLIKE, but why are these songs not labelled Asaki's? He thinks they aren't good enough?" or something like that.

And Asaki's comment on Onihime said the Ghost's Children Choir is "12 Asakis." >_>

OH! That must mean he sung it once, then remix it 12 times to get all of the different pitches right.

The 12 semi-tones of an octave?

Each so-called Asaki sing only one note.

That wouldn't seem right.

Haha XD But re-recording over himself is something that's probably natural to him by now, especially with songs like Kono Ko, here he probably recorded his multiple vocal/speaking parts over his guitar parts over his bass parts.

Actually I think not only Asaki does multi-layer recording, but alot of other solo in-house artistes, probably like Jimmy Weckl too... It saves costs on hiring sessioning artistes...and reduces the amount of takes required to get one recording done compared to single recording...

I'm not really surprised; a lot of bands going back to the '60s even recorded all of their parts separately (with each member often not even being in the studio at the same time due to scheduling). Recording studio tricks are kind of the norm for many musicians :P
