Default over there ext = near impossible

the fast picking is so damn hard to time properly.... it's like my ASC isn't designed to do picking that fast lol.

can anyone actually beat it?

I can make it past all the fast picking but have no life left for the switching at the end...

I have a 72% skill on ext/open currently. I only use the same official guitar controller that i've had since GF for psx.

I remember seeing a video of someone doing it on ext without open in the arcade and getting a 100% on it somewhere.

Yes, 2people maxed in guitar and open respectively.

If I'm not wrong, I think the ASC is not sensitive enough to register such fast picking...

I have a 83/10/1/0/6 A on EXT guitar.. that's on arcade though. I thought the whole point of the ASC was that is was exactly the same as the arcade, why would it be less sensitive?

I have the same problem. I can get through it just fine in the arcade, but I keep failing on the uber-hyper-picking segment using the ASC. I'm convinced the pick just isn't broken in enough... nowhere near as loose as the controllers at my local arcades. It would be nice if there were a reliable way to loosen it up, but I'm not gonna risk tearing apart my investment just yet.

I tried a few runs on Training, just singling out the fast part with "picking only" on and i seemed to do better...

but after like 5 tries my shoulder wanted to fall off lol.

I think "over there" is referring to going over to my physiotherapist after trying this song too much and developing tendonitis LOL.

On arcade, i've cleared it before with a B. However i can't even manage to pass it on home version. But then again, i don't have an ASC, i use a KOC only.

Basically if you can downpick at around 250bpm on 8th beat, you should be able to keep up with the hyperpick.

The thing is that if you keep your hands on the pick and simply vibrate, you might keep the combos running (though that may cause some miss, this is quite safe)

I am practising the frequency of vibration to meet the picking just fine. My arms are just parallel to the surface of the controller, and my wrist bent 90 degrees. It just act like normal down-up picking, but with a much smaller magnitude.

At the same time, you must mind the moment when your left hand fingers press the buttons. There are cases that someone just change the key before the lazer arrived, and caused a line of miss and failed in 2 seconds. It is suggested not to use dark, but if you are confident with the judge line it's fine to keep dark mode on.
