Parallel Port GF ASC (Or Screens?)

Trying to get my GuitarFreaks ASC to work through a parallel port so I can use it on some simfiles I have. But since I got a DJ DAO parallel port adapter, green and blue are registered as POV hats instead of buttons. Red though is labeled as button 3.

I've tried using Joy2Key to fix that but it did not help at all.

The problem is that green and blue cannot be held down together since it kind of "even" each other out and they do not get registered at all.

A little bit confusing but eh.

Does anyone use any different type of Parallel port adapter or have any suggestions? Better yet, does anyone have any screens of the GF ASC PCB as I'd go and mod it myself to hopefully make it work on pc.

The old ones made by tyco (another forum) work great, I have 3 extra, I may be willing to sell... (they do not work on some controllers but the gf asc works great.

go to play-asia.com and get a Trio Linker Plus.

I have one, and it works great.

You might want to go to http://stepmania.com and compare adapters, they have a compatability list on there.

Then, once you get it, you will not be disappointed

Wait, are those PS2 to parallel converters you're talking about? I've been looking for a parallel converter as I hear they barely have any lag. How's the lag on that particular one? How much would you charge for one of those?
