play-asia delivered me a wrong item

I ordered for a Drummania controller at play-asia. I bought it at 69.90usd with a 10usd coupon = 59.90usd. The packaged arrived... to my surprise!



They sent me a different item. The Beatmania IIDX controller. I already emailed play-asia regarding this matter. Waiting for their response. I've looked up also this item. It was also priced at 69.90usd... however they have offered a 20usd off sale price. So it's now 49.90usd. I'm ripped off by 10usd...

Anyway... is beatmania a great game? But still, I want my Drummania controller!

IIDX is a great game, although the music is a lot different than GF/DM. (duh)
OH SNAP, I haven't heard of such a thing from play-asia yet. Although, beatmania and DrumMania both have mania.

Return it. You can get a US Beatmania bundle for half the price at Gamestop for IIDX. Bought mine for $20 (friend works at Gamestop, sold the game inside + employee discount...otherwise it's $30).

i live in the philippines. so play-asia is the best option. i got the item less than 24hrs (well almost 24hrs)

I am a bit iffy. It depends what you like, I extremely enjoy Beatmania IIDX, but Drummania is a good game too. Drummania however gets EXTREMELY boring if you dont have friends to play with. IIDX however, I just throw in a copy and have fun with that for quite a few hours, even though I planned to play 10 minutes. I dont know, you may not like IIDX, because it takes people a while to get a hang of.

I like DM a lot more than IIDX, but the Konami DM controller is pretty whack (well, I hate the Konami IIDX controller too).

On a slightly related note, in the past 6 months, Play-Asia have been really shit with service. Definitely not like they used to be. I've since received 0 posters, slow package sends, sometimes incorrect items, the DistorteD OST LE my friend got didn't come with the CDs at all!, and they've just been really really unprofessional. HOWEVER, when replying to queries and such, they're fantastic... So, whilst the rest of their service is terrible as of late, their customer contact service is still pretty good

I hate to say this but... Buy beware!

Who knows man, they might just send you the DM controller and let you keep the IIDX controller, then its a win/win situation.

also note that Dummania controllers from Playasia DO NOT come with a stand., I got mine from lik-sanf before they went out of bussiness just for that reason.

good news...
after days of email conversation, i got my drummania controller. BUT! they did not made me return the beatmania controller because the expenses that they will shoulder will be much expensive. so i got both!
