Default Playing CS versions on an HDTV

Recently got back into GuitarFreaks and Drummania. Been so long and I thought since it's been 2 years since I last touched it I thought I just sucked once again. Well playing GFDM MPS and MSG with V as well, there seems to be like JUST a hint of lag that is making my scores TERRIBLE.

Now with GFDM V3 the problem seems to have corrected itself but it still shows up on the other CS version as if I'm doing terrible. I can still SDG some songs on V3 50 and below when I'm trying real hard.

Now, I can't seem to find any information, but was there some sort of setting change done to playing on HD TVs for V3?

Or if anyone cares to explain? I'm using a samsung model # LN32B360C5D if that helps any.

This must be an LCD TV? are you upscaling to fit or are you keeping aspect ratio? I dont think you can adjust timing on the GF/DM games. Are you using component cables? you should.

Yes, its an hd tv. I have it maxed out at 16:9 on my tv which isn't the smaller one. 4:9 or something like that.

And yes, I am using component cables.

Aspect ratio is the smaller screen on a tv right? I've never really messed with the ratio so I will give that a try.

all the GF/DM games are 4:3 640x480 some TVs when outputting full screen try to convert the signal on the fly and it really screws up timing. Component cables can help but if you can make sure your TV is set to 480p and not 720p or 1080p it wont have to upscale anything.
