Problems with MP Silver drum-random misses

No, from what people are saying, MPS DrumMania screws up even if nothing is plugged in the 2nd controller slot. It's just that certain types of controllers (Analog controllers or a multitap) plugged into the 2nd slot will fix the problem. I guess this means you can session with no controller problems, though.

If you're experiencing this problem while playing GF, then there's no real fix. Konami just says that you're picking too violently, and that you should try and tone it down.

I don't think I've experienced any problems like this in GF. There are times when I feel like I'm getting misses that aren't really misses, but that happens in everything, not just MPS. I think there's something slightly faulty about my controllers up picking...thing.

well i can say it does make a difference, i was able to combo long rolls that i know would usually cause a ghost miss like family restaurant bomber and b'coz i love you
looks like no more session for me on this mix

Mogura: I say it was my GF cons fault because I always play with the GF con in port 2 for all gf/dm games
I wish I had a multitap for PS2

Oh, I see. Well, multitaps aren't really hard to find or expensive, so that's not a hard fix.

Oh my god, I had no clue about this fix! Finally, I can play MPS! I bought the game and never played it because of that problem. Looks like some new scores are coming my way!
