I'd like to do this for the latter.

But I'm not yet familiar with the lyrics yet of this long version song.

So I only sing in some parts hehe

You play Bass charts like it was a real bass guitar. Slap technique anyone?

wahahaha, i would actually use my index and middle finger to pick if its the easy one like Dedication by Thomas. and slap yes, but for the basic around 29-35

and if the song's is one of my favorite i would shamelessly sing along with it and would actually do a simple dance (usually it happens on akai suzu, meikyou shisui, and tsuminagara)till at the end of the song i realize people staring at me..that's when i stopped.

......and do it again when the crowd's gone somewhere. wakakakakak..

and recently i love jake in the box so much that i would act even more extreme than the guitarist that plays it in the video...i haven't found any GF V4 in my country so i play it at home,..but i'm had to get over it before i found it cuz if not,,,,errr...>.>

I would windmill while playing NEMESIS or Under Control in GF, even though my hair's not long.

When I get a random miss while playing GF I jump back and act surprised. Also I wail rather expressively, even though wailing is broken.

Checky is also prone to playing ridiculously hard songs (e.g. Leaving All Behind) overhand. There were some random kids in e-spot WTFing at him doing that the other week. Heh.

Sorry for bumping my old thread since I move a lot.

In the triplet section of The Sound Of Truth, I usually go into a crouching stance like how most metal/deathcore guitarists play, or just do Alexi Laiho's sidewards headbanging.

In songs like WILD RIDE, Slang, Electric Lady, or Red, I play like Jimi Hendrix or MattRach.

For songs like Taisetsu Na Mono (before the last chorus) and ESCAPE TO THE SKY (before each chorus), I usually take a big jump for the wailing bonus.

Hehe I see I see (that's quite interesting).

Anyways
In my case, I do have to put a bit of emotion on stuff like scenario ext. drums (which is the only level 80s that I can pass atm). I need to put emotion otherwise my score could be in jeopardy and that my max combo count would be broken so there. Also, in those tough patterns of hard songs that are combined with fast tempo/BPM, I need to put emotion if I am gonna pass/survive (i.e. suction parts such as those in Revolution ext.).

Other than that though, I don't put to much feeling or emotion (well excess of it anyways). As those stuff that I find easier or relatively easy, I just play normal with least amount of effort exerted as possible (in order to save stamina/energy hehe ).

Just my two cents on this hehe

Speaking of Alexi Laiho, Children of Bodom should be in GFDM already.

On-topic, I now do the Anisakis/MENDES beat not just to Immortal Bind, but to almost every song now, especially ALMOST EASY. In that hard part of Junsui baiyou EXT in DM (the one with 16th bass pedals), I add more hi-hats to give it more of a heavy metal feel (though it's a visual kei song) :P

Oh yeah, in response to Unknown's post (shouting KIRA in Zetsubou Billy), I also sang the chorus of The Sound Of Truth and Leaving All Behind (but in falsetto).
