Default Right Handed GF ASC?

Maybe it's just me, but is it impossible to play home version with the buttons on your right hand the pick on your left? I don't know if I'm just stupid or you never could but I thought it was possible or maybe I'm doing SOMETHING wrong I just don't know what.

If anyone can clear this up for me.

Why would it be any different from the arcade version if you're using an ASC? It's literally the same controller.

I mean, I'm sure it's less convenient than playing right handed, but...that's what you get for learning to play backwards. Jimmy Hendrix played right handed guitars and never bitched about it ;p

I'm confused. What are you talking about? Are you saying it's easier to play with Left on at the arcades than it is at home?

What did you mean? Putting Left on flips the fret layout so that you can strum with your left hand. 'Right-handed' playing is pressing the frets with your left hand. You just have to hold the controller sort of upside-down.

I can attest that the AC controller is just as awkward to play left handed as the ASC... They are the same in every way except the AC cord is metal with another safety cord and an effects knob and no select and start buttons... oh and the sticker on the fretboard is different for the AC controller...

but that's about it.

I would assume the GF ASC is already designed for right-handed players, seeing as how they are the majority. You're probably meant to be pressing the buttons with your left hand. That's the way I've always done it and it didn't seem strange to me O_o (I'm right handed)

First of all, right hand on the neck/left hand on the pick is playing left-handed. Not right-handed. That's a poor title choice.

If you play left handed, it seems like you wouldn't be able to use the strap unless I'm missing something. And the guitar is contoured for right-handed play. Guess you're just going to have to tough it out, like other people have said, if you want to play left handed.

Yeah, I never really got why they put the Left option in the game when there's no real way to use the shoulder strap with the guitar upside-down.
