dm, ext, manual bass, blah

Reaching For The Stars (Sky?) - second play, first pass, B
Tizona d'el Cid - first play C
some random level 70 crap
you can't do it if you try - first play S
rise - first play S
some level 65 thing - first play S

(i've now played every single song in non-eamuse V3 that's between level 60 and 65 on ext, and most of the ones under 60. lowest ranked song i can't pass is A Shooting Star, I think)

cockpit: first play, _nearly_ passed, died on the tom roll at the end. second, third and fourth plays: died a little earlier. grahhh. when do I get to crack level 90...

I've never stayed in the arcade for one whole day for quite some time already...and the e-amuse router had to break down halfway...which explains the absence of skill percentage in some pictures...zzz...

You can't do it is level 90...

GF Masterpiece Silver:
Cleared Timepiece Phase II BASS EXT. I finally kept the pick tempo steady throughout the song.
SP up a little bit 851 -> 856

I'm not playing much again.

woohoo:

amazing what a difference e-spot makes =)

that's You Can't Do It, ext, second play, C. whee level 90. didn't even hit DANGER, though I spammed the late cymbal / snare section outrageously.

i did try little prayer, got maybe halfway in.

checky, timepiece absolutely kicks my ass. i can't even get to the breakdown.

You guys tried holding the sticks in reverse instead? We usually do that here for damaged machines to ensure we don't die due to an insensitive pad...

yeah. (some of the lower level players around here use reversed sticks all the time). it helps a bit, but...meh. it's not that the pad just wears out and becomes insensitive, it actually _breaks_ in some way - what tends to happen is that it just won't register hits in certain places on the pad no matter how hard they are, but will register hits on other places fine, even soft ones. there's just something odd with the cymbal at that arcade. it breaks regularly, even though they keep replacing bits. either there's some moron playing way too hard at a time when none of us is there to notice, or it's haunted. =)

螢京之淚 - the difference isn't the pads, actually, I can play the CHQ pads okay. the difference is the volume. when I played it at chq it was the first time I'd ever played or seen the song. someone was playing GF next to me. and i just couldn't hear the song. so i had no feel for the beat or anything. at e-spot, the volume is high, so you can actually hear what the hell you're playing.
