wakassjak: as has been pointed out a few times, ratings are based on how hard it is to *FC* a song, not to *pass* it. Two songs can be equally difficult to FC but very different in terms of how hard they are to clear.

I'd say it's a balance of two
Carnival day is way easier to FC than Hana Tsuki Kiseki....but harder to pass

but seriously, konami purposely placed underrated songs for a reason... prepare us for e next level? e.g wth is never again and moratorium in such a low lvl?

i can never understand why everyone says never again is underrated. how underrated can a song with repetitive low tom notes be that high levelled?

it looks easy to u. but its not for many.

if it was RL RL RL RL, or RL LR RL LR (with e bass on e R), its simple. but e bass is all over e place.... heck, i only just understood how it was supposed to be like at e end of V3 =.=

タリホー - FC, finally.

i'm starting to write down my full results in order to try and calculate SP, but is there a site you can use to calculate SP if you're not on e-amuse? as far as I can see / read with my crappy Japanese, you can't just type your results into heteml.jp, it really uses the e-amuse rankings, right? Are those of us without e-amuse stuck figuring it out in a spreadsheet, and if so does anyone have a decent spreadsheet we can use?

Use this as ur helper.

Remember ur perfect/great/combo % and it'll give u a rough estimation of ur skill%. (max difference from actual skill% is about 2%)

register using This. (first is ur username, 2nd and 3rd put in ur password) they will give u an ID number. log in from the red section using ur ID number and add in ur results from dere. u dun rly have to use e-amuse ranking.

yeah, I found the calculator. why is it not perfectly accurate? it shouldn't be hard to make one that is, right?

I also tried doing exactly as you say, but when I try and log in, it gives me an error...

...oh, I got it. you have to log in with the numerical ID, not the username. got it. thanks.

imagine 2 seperate scenarios.

- 80.0% perfect, 15.0% great, 70.0% combo.
vs.
- 80.9% perfect, 15.9% great, 70.9% combo.

on the calculator, the difference can be as big as 1.3% skill. (tested)

yeah, so they could just include a table of the total beats for every song in the calculator code, and ask for number of beats rather than %age in each category.

so, here's my table so far, just going on the games I played yesterday and pictures I had lying around where the numbers were actually visible...

last time i had dat skill, i had 45%P.... =.=" nightmares.

on e other hand, ur fullcombos isnt too bad, besides dat "looking for love in you". watz dat... 80%P?

that wasn't my best run on you can't do it, it was my first completion.

quite a lot of these aren't actually my best attempts - they're just ones I actually have the data for lying around. For instance quite a few of the V4 runs are either from yesterday, when I wasn't playing very well, or from the first time I played V4 (I took pictures of every song that day, but some are unusable). I've scored over 90% P-rate on several V4 songs since then, but don't have the full data for those runs. I've S'ed 5-10 and Gori Gori and got much better runs at ツヨクツヨク, Deadman's Bed, Rock And Roll All Nite, ガラナ, Zig Zag Life, Going Up (nearly S), cockpit, Aithon, Endless Waltz, and Termination (S) - I just don't have pictures of them so I don't have all the numbers I'd need.

I only took a picture of You Can't Do It first time I passed it, so that's the data I have. I'll update 'em as I get more data.

Lookin For Love In You is quite old, I did it several months ago. It was one of my first FCs. My P-rates weren't great back then.

now that you have started a skill point list....you'll be taking a lot more pictures, and experience "stress" from playing.

don't bother taking pictures, I'm just taking a pen and paper and writing them down. cellphone pictures are impossible to read too often, and I don't care enough to take a camera. =)

i dunno, didn't feel too stressed yesterday. i just want an idea what my sp are, really. I guess I'll wind up around 900 or something. don't really know.

wish I still had pictures of my other FCs, I guess I'll have to do them again.

oh you WILL feel stressed when there's a goal for you.
if you reached 900, you will go for 1000(Maybe in V5)
but one thing for sure is, the urge to push your skillpoint won't stop until you have reached it

Oh I thought your phone's camera was good enough. :P
