I played a bunch of V5 too...no significant achievements really except 87/10/31 on R #1, I liked that one.

Working on my pre-V5 song scores for my V5 SP chart. Happy fun yay achievement of the day: 砂浜 (the nu-metal-ish song from V3, by Rize, level 62) FC. Also re-did Jet World FC on my first try, which is always good - it's frustrating playing a song you already FC'ed over and over to get it again. Improved my best SP for Riff Riff Orbit, Going Up and Homesick Pt. 2&3.

My achievements are nothing at all compared to the pros but at least it served as marking points for my progress. Played V5 today/yesterday and here's what I've accomplished...
Zenith (Ext) = B (80% perfect)
Black Out (Ext) = A (90%)
CaptivAte~sabaki~ (Ext) = B (also 80%)
Die Zauberflote (Ext) = C (69%)
Agnus Dei (Ext) = B (81%)
Mad Blast (Ext) = B (73%)
and finally passed STAY (Ext) = B (77%) - Very happy about this since I can't even pass this song a week ago with LIGHT on
Just for fun, 5 days ago before the V4 was upgraded V5 I had a little fun with LIGHT mode and tried random songs. Passed Over There (Ext) with LIGHT on... Making it the hardest song with LIGHT I ever passed lol...
I'll work on them and get S-es (hopefully) on them when I have my ASC working...That's it for me now. I think I came a long way since I started passing Zenith Ext with LIGHT few weeks ago... | |

You must play random always ... it does not make the songs easier or harder... it just keeps you from memorizing the notes, and therefore allows you to become easier at reading new notes/new songs.
