Right, today's definitely the happiest day of my life in GF yet. I played V5 again at my arcade and OMFG I hit Ses and As (and Bs lol) on songs I couldn't imagine passing with good ranks even with LIGHT on. Something just clicked when I played today and I was honestly shittin' myself when I passed Glide Ext. Random for the first time with no LIGHT AND not only did I pass it, I also got a 80% Perfect and "A"! w00t! And since I brought my phone I decided to take some pictures and the following sessions are just keep getting better and better!

But I'm so happy that I can actually get through the songs with Random on now. I feel that my fingering has improved so much it's weird that I can't do this good without the Random...
I should really start making good use of my ASC lol. No point when I bought it and then only played at the arcade  Can't help it, the pick feels so much better in arcade and gdamania.net is still closed.

Vancouver trip was an absolute blast. Thanks for people being nice and cool like Checky, AdamW, and some other guy who I didn't know but was still super cool anyway! I played a decent amount of V5, but didn't really get any great scores.
This was fun though: 
Taken at CHQ, too, so I think that's an accomplishment based on the cymbal there.

How do you feel? (level 60) - 92/7/100 (FC 6 good)
美麗的家郷 (level 62) - 91/9/100 SS! (second SS ever) - this is the Chinese-style song with lots of triplets and a red marquee, if you don't know)
ALMOST EASY - 88/10/84 (S), 22.03 skill points, wahoo! I actually could FC this with a bit of a following wind...
Skill points up to 985.53, getting closer to that elusive 1000 and level 60+ SS makes adam go squeee...
edit: also made S on The Sound Of Truth, but with lower sp because I broke combo stupidly, d'oh).
