checky: yeah, you've told me that story before - I meant you barely play in comparison to me or Tim. I mean, man, I play DM exclusively (more or less) and I've been playing like 2+ years now, and you're still probably better than me. as I said: life ain't fair. =)
I figure if you chased SP on DM you'd hit 1100 without too much trouble. Just my intuition.

I wasn't planning to play today but we were at Metrotown so I got a few games in at CHQ, and surprise surprise, I do way better than e-spot or PP...heh:
真実 〜GFDM Ver.〜 (level 63) - 86/12/100 (FC!) wtf? I just played this for fun because I didn't really know what to play for a song 2 and came out with FC, ahaha. I'll take it. Not great P-rate though.
Homesick Pt.2&3 - 91/7/56 (S) - 0 miss 2 poor 8 good, agh! So close to my first level 70 FC...and not far from SS, heh.
αρχη - 70/17/18 (B) - decent shot at this, but I might even be able to A it...
CARNIVAL DAY - 79/14/22 (A) - I feel like there's an S and a decent combo in this song with some more practice...
Tizona d'El Cid - 73/16/12 (B) - would've been an A if I'd got the start better
CRAWL - 90/8/60 (S) - I always miss two bits: the extended snare roll and the tom roll.
Also passed Samurai again (first time was on V4), but with a shitty score.
SP up to 990.46 (yaay), aiming for 1000 now! And I kinda feel I can get there...

Well yeah, you can always get better if you practice. Some people just get better faster =) I always feel like there's somewhere for me to go, although at times it feels harder than others. I was only at 950 or so for V4, so I'm already improving a bit from there.

What I did for GF was....
ok, V4 I aim 1300
Once I reached there....I stopped on SP focusing.

mrvtec: thanks...yeah, there's a few level 70-80 songs I feel I can still work on, for combo % more than P-rate (DD8, Immortal Bind, Almost Easy for e.g.) And I think I can get quite a bit out of Carnival Day and Passion with some more plays.
surreal: I don't only play for SP - I still play some songs that don't really have a chance of making my SP table, just because I like 'em. Playing only for SP kinda turns into a job after a while =)

I don't play that much DM recently, played at most 50 credits since v5...at the end of v4 I had only 1051 sp but 670 credits which made me lose my motivation.

I think they use a line out recording.. I guess you have to be friend of the arcade tech to hook it up?.. That's my guess.. don't think it has anything to do with E-amuse.
