I find that there's something wrong with 89 as a difficulty

Sure, White Tornado bass and Heaven's Cocktail are reasonable 89s, but...

Going My Way sounds nice, but the notechart is very stupid...

And I'm still bugged as to why the difficulty discrepancy is so huge (between the ext charts between guitar and drums).

During the GFDM V5 HONG KONG Location Test, the guitar chart was actually a lvl 99!

Yeah... well, I can understand a notechart like that if it were level 99 -- that's where the difficulty comes from, right?

But for an 89, the current chart is ridiculous lol

yep it is. I tended to miss either at the snare-snare-snare, snare, bass, snare, snare, snare roll near the start, or the little roll leading into the low-tom / snare / alt bass section. but I finally got it! muahaha.

Well in any case, I congratulate you again for achieving such

It's an easy song to play but quite tricky to full combo.


Though in my case, every time I played it when V3 was still new here (and I rarely play that song unfortunately), I never took it seriously because it was just a low level song for me.

All that I cared back then was to pass this with DARK, no DANGER, a max combo of AT LEAST 200 COMBO and finish it with a score of AT LEAST 10 million.

Now that I did all of the following for that song all on the first try, I never even bothered coming back to it again (i dunno why....probably because it was as overplayed as Karma).

Or I was probably blinded and addicted back then by songs such as Say (on the V2 folder) and Venus (Tatsh and that RayZY dude).

Just sharing an experience in the past

Though I never really knew why that song was so popular.

Heck, if anyone of you watches those marcusinhk vids on youtube, you'll obviously notice that it is the vid with the most number of views (more than 200,000 and counting).

So why is it so then?

The band's popular and it's a fun song to play, I guess. It's also a pretty easy Lamer Mode (auto-bass) level 60.
