I saw aeriyu playing today (and we sessioned once). he's seriously outta practice but don't rag on the guy, he had midterms. he'll be good by friday i think.

as for me - Heaven Inside, first attempt pass. think I got A or B, I didn't stick around to see the result screen. Also nearly passed Desert Rain ext on my first attempt.

Also played Aithon ADV by accident and got a B. On EXT I S it, can nearly full combo it. What's with that? weird.

Good job AdamW, you'll be able to pass Desert Rain soon then; it's probably the ending that is killing ya, since it kind of comes out of nowhere-you'll catch it soon (I still have problems there).

Um, as for recent accomplishments on my end, I passed Cockpit EXT on DM Masterpiece Silver with my KOC for a B, bleh-but I'm happy to have passed it. Took that learning to the arcade and passed it with a C (tom rolls for that are a lot easier on the KOC hahaha, at least for me).

Heh, I remember when V2 for PS2 came out I never got higher then an A on Desert Rain till I realized I wasn't picking fast enough near the end.

Don't worry though, I'm sure you'll get it next time. It's become one of my most favorite (still can't top homegirl) songs on V2. Lucky you can session up with someone. I have no arcade close where I live so the home versions don't really do justice for me =(

Desert Rain EXT is 70-something on DMV3, 60-something on previous versions.

Hmmm. Sounds like the reverse of me. I think I failed a level 18 song on DM once. I may buy a drumset in 2 weeks to play DM, though. Excited


As for Desert Rain on GF, it was one of the first "high level" songs I came close to passing. I whored the hell out of it on training, but it was the only song above 60 that I was able to almost finish (the part before the oh-so-beutifully-sounding ending was the part I'd always fail at).
