Post whatever you can usually do, but then you some how flunked it.

I played 2 long songs...and I dropped BOTH sticks for BOTH songs (But I survived for the first one...cause I picked up the public stick)

I failed White Tornado twice last week, that was odd. and I also managed to fail Rock Star for absolutely no apparent reason at CHQ the other day.

A bunch of times when rolling from the toms and then moving to the cymbal, I get my stick caught underneath the drum pad. It can cause failures if I'm not doing very well already.

Somehow after not playing for a while I got C for Model DD4 Ext on DM when I used to get A's...

Shortest DM set ever. Chose Model DD5 as the first song (I had already warmed up a bit). About 20 seconds in, broke a stick. Failed. I weep.

Even though I had backups, I also kept dropping my sticks the entire night. Probably dropped them during at least 4 songs.

While I generally don't like to dwell on failures, there are a couple that really stand out. Default difficulty for both (the one you need to actually get a recorded score on).

Carnival Day, 4th/3rd, Guitar Normal extra stage. I cannot clear this lousy stinkin' bastard to save my life. I've tried. I've tried many, many times. I've become a much better player than when I first started out. Cannot, Can. Not. Make it to the end. (Oh, did I mention that in 4th/3rd, failing any stage, including the extra, disqualifies you from a high score?)

Riff Riff Paradise, Masterpiece Gold, Guitar Basic. None of the other Basic long tracks give me any problems, but I took three cracks at this, and every time the ridiculous King G part at the very end knocked me for a loop. Since this means that I've just wasted roughly four minutes, you can imagine my enthusiasm to ever try this again.

Checky - Hey, cool it. We don't go for flame-baiting here. If it bothers you that much, make a request to an admin to correct the title.

Yeah, there's an internal thread title and an external one. I think if you created the thread, you can edit the external one by double-clicking the thread title from the listing - not directly on the words, but somewhere next to them. Not 100% on that though. Fixed it for you for now though.

Anyway, failures, eh? Last time I played I FCed Shippo no Rock with 20 goods~

Failure Story of the Week:

Akira and I were playing GFV2 in one of the local malls here. He accidentally picked The Least 100 Seconds because we kinda forgot that there was a time limit in choosing your songs. In any instance, I failed that badly to the point that I had to give the controller to someone else (Pepe, another member of this forums) and he failed that too. So it was a triple failure since we all failed... ?

And I failed CaptivAte ~Sabaki~ on GFV3. I kinda gave up on it and moved to DMV3 where at least I can pass that song with a B.
