Show me your moves!

Please tell me i'm not the only one that tries to freestyle Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania! I like to dance around doing old school power moves while on gf and i like to play dm with my face (which explains why i'm so ugly) and all that good stuff.

So how do you guys rock out?

I stomp my left foot to keep with the rhythm when I play GF.

For DM, I sometimes bounce my butt up and down the stool when there's a lot of bass.

It's wrong, I know.

Are you good at least? If you show off and your hella good, then it looks awesome. Like Akira and his stick spinning and cross over toms. But if you show off excessively and are a total noob, then its kinda like *bleh*

Chris likes to "rock out" playing Mikenko rock, Namida No regret, Across the nightmare over and over again all on basic autobass and dark at AI. It's just... painful to watch. Those poor drumpads being whacked so hard. Hes a padsmasher too. This one fat guy at250 pounds at Japan arcade likes to rock out by playing break the pads on a 20 difficulty song and stomping the bass with all his weight into it. I think hes the one that broke the hi hat when I went there a few months back.

I only show off by spinning my sticks in a circle between my index and middle finger on songs like ancient breeze, fairy tales, tocatta and a few others. Or I just play Tamayura Ext at the UCLA arcade. That usually draws a crowd.

I don't show off in guitar freaks at all.

Yeah I like to rock out when I'm playing GF. When I've memorized a section of a song I'll turn around and face the crowd and people seem to like it. In the future I'll probably work on a whole song like that.

I sing when there is lyric.

I also sing even it's instrumental.

Yeah, I'm not that much of a show off... Sometimes I sing the song outload, thank god the volume of the machine covers my voice

Also I saw these to guys playing like Jet World or something, and in order to get the wails they kept bobbing forawrd and backward with their guitar, it was so fucking hilarious!

Uggg i kind of suck at GF and DM. I'm the best in simi at a lot of things, but no one really plays here.

My limit for both are high 80's. Oh i did this move today where i swung the guitar by the chord over my head and it took out the whole room jk. I gotta try that though.

I tend to rock out, depending on the song. For example, I'll just swing a little more wildly than normal when I'm into a song. Still not enough to hurt the machine though, since I use very light wooden sticks and a very loose grip.

Also, if I know the song well enough to know (or at least guess, often on the upbeat of 4) when open-hit hat notes are, I'll use my left foot and imitate those. Or I'll imitate hi-hat stomps in empty spaces between fills. Sometimes I get too carried away though - it leads to a lot of needless goods XD

Best I do (given that I suck) is some minor freestyle on Drummania, just letting the sticks slide in my hand a little so I'm holding the ends and hitting with the back of them (makes for a weird grip, but it's fun once in a while.)

...come to think of it, is that even considered freestyling, or did I just make an ass of myself?

I don't like to do anything "freestyle" when playing, except tap left foot to keep rhythmn, or swinging head a bit to the beat to keep rhythmn too. Usually people who "freestyle" here always spoil the machines, so I hate "freestyle" here.

I just thought of something funny. Enter a dm tournament and use bananas to play! If you can win like that I think that would be the ultimate fs (in some sense) and the ultimate ass-handing.
