Default Tatsujin requests

So I was browsing through the Bemanistyle Tatsujin section, and I noticed something horribly, horribly wrong...

There are no Tatsujin vids for either Keyboardmania or GuitarFreaks! (And only one for Drummania, IIRC, though that one is very cool.)

What gives? I know I'm not the only person who plays these. C'mon, people, give me something to shoot for.

Wuv.

But why does no one on Bemanistyle do tatsujins for these games? Is it just because we can't compete with these guys, or are there really that few Super Session players here?

We have people who do that. I remember I saw videos of players like DeepBlueVibes, hideki, miavi, DayDream etc on Youtube.

Try searching there.

The problem we face here in Singapore is that photography are not allowed in our arcades, so we have to take a video in secret, thus bad camera angles. Moreover, we do not wish for our camera phones / videocams to be confiscated...

If I'm not wrong, Japanese arcades go "no rules". The players are allowed to do anything they want, e.g smoking and video-taping, in the arcade. Some players, like Pico, had several cameras on camera stands at one time, which give such nice camera angles.

Oh well. =X

Ouch. I'm sorry you have to go through all that trouble just to record a video...

Are you sure it's a national thing? I know arcades in America vary a lot - some will yell at you if you so much as take a picture, and some will gladly help you set up and move things out of the way so you can place cameras!

Oh well... I'll look for some of the names you describe. Thanks!

Although I'm no god at Guitar Freaks yet. I'm slowly getting there. I've been thinking about uploading some Tatsujin videos of myself. Only thing is, would bemanistyle allow any type of song ranging from easy to extremely difficult?

Back a few years ago David Brit had a good amount of tatsujin videos of both Guitar Freaks and Drummania. Bemanistyle doesn't have them anymore unfortunately because they were very entertaining to watch.

Yes.. you can post a video for any difficulty you want.. it's not about how good you are compared to other people.. it's just to further yourself.. Arimasen for example posted a video of him getting an S on Kagonotori ADV guitar. Many people can get excellent on extreme for this song, but it's just his personal accomplishment. So, post away. Next time I go to the arcade, I guess I will try to take some videos for you guys to watch..

Hmm sure it would be nice to share some links of the jap players, but it will be better if those videos are submitted to the database of bemanistyle or hosted on our website. Alternatively, we can upload it on youtube or yousendit. It isn't a really nice idea to spread the download links around and let leechers use up the bandwidth of their personal websites.

When i have a decent cam or something, maybe i'll do a video

There IS a Kagonotori ADV video up, though it's in the Drummania section because Arimasen is a big dummy.

Haha thats because there are only a few people here that are really good at a level where they can be commended for online videos.

IMO you shud be at least 1400 DM or GF skill points to look very impressive while playing. Pretty much no one in California is around that skill. At least for who I know, Akira comes closest to that on DM, while Ethan or Simione comes closest to that on GF.

I want to see some people play Model DD4. I haven't seen much people get good grades on that song.

One of the coolest videos I saw was SKY.AAA doing TPII stealth and getting an SS with 94% perfect. I think SKY.AAA had about 1540 skill points on DMV.
