I believe u're asking about the EXT tom solo rubbish...
Possible tips (cuz I haven't got through it myself neither):
1) Serious right hand training - it will make ur right hand go through the toms wif one hand. But that'll take ages to get. Training songs are Meili De Jia Xiang and Right On Time with right hand only, or Herring Roe with crosshand.
2) Or you could be really good at rolling into splits and continue rolling again... VOIDDD is one song example.
Good luck. | |

I literally have NEVER seen anyone fail a song on that machine

well besides the fact that playing on lvl 1 machines will give you exposure to the chart, if you have a home version of GFDMV, you can play TL100s on practice mode and play it on lower speeds so that you can read it better. and if you don't have any drumset to play it on, I guess you can leave it on autoplay, though I don't think that'll work completely on practice.
Hell, I remember back in the day when I'd sync music to norihomepage charts with mp3s and air drum the charts (it helps to have a pair of sticks in your hands). I suppose you could also get dtxmania and play the charts there.

The video u saw was DDMMLLLL. He's a freak.
His training regime was...
Mei Li De Jia Xiang one hand.
Right on Time one hand (not too sure if this was true. But ESTP did it.)
I forgot what else.
YCDI, Yara JIMANG style? (invented by ESTP. left hand only does hihat and snare, right does toms and cymbal. Trust me, you'll vomit in Tamayura and TPP2. XD) | |
