Today was my first time seeing keyboardmania.

Hi, today I was at a used bookstore, which happens to have used movies, cd's and video games and video game equipment.

I saw this and noticed it's cord is usb. I instantly wondered if it would be recognized in windows xp as a midi keyboard and if there were any programs specifically written for this keyboard besides the game which at this point I know nothing about.
I did read one post that said there is a pc version of the video game for the ps2 and that you can edit songs, enter the notes and it will highlight the keyboard and you can play along to learn songs. Is this true? Is the game available as a free download?
Could someone give me a little more info about this, this item seems really cool and although there were two at that shop for 5000yen each ($50), I am already wondering if I should be regretting picking one up even though I don't know anything about it yet. It seems like too good of a thing to have not splurged on instantly. I'm comtemplating buying one in the morning. HAHAHA
I just hope it can at the very least be used as a basic midi keyboard. But I like the idea of the lightup keys song learning.

You kidding me?! Where do you live? Keyboardmania for 50 bucks. Controller and the game. Even if you dont know anything about it GET IT! Its very rare find. I would swipe both copies and if you dont like it. Sell it on ebay, I am sure you could make more off it then you bought. Thats a good deal.

I would grab a copy if I were you. KBM is a pretty cool game. And for $50? That's a steal.

I know absolutely nothing about bemani, keyboardmania, guitarmani, or anything from this website.
I like to make music on my laptop and the keyboard itself caught my eye.
For $10 I can get the beatmania controller, don't know about the game itself. And the $50 keyboardmania I'm not sure if the game comes with it or if it's just the keyboard.

That's a Book Off price tag in the second picture. Which means he's in Japan.

There is a Book Off in New York City as well, even though they don't sell video games. Eddie has mentioned having gone to a Book Off in California, too.
