Default Topway DM controller pedal alternative

I couldn't find another thread on this but anyway i seem to have lost my pedal for the DM controller. I have spoken to some video game store representative that told me there was some light gun with a pedal that people were buying that was compatible with the DM controller but i have no idea what that is. does anyone know where i could buy another pedal without getting another controller?

You can try Radio Shack and ask for a sustain pedal and a big jack to RCA phono jack converter.

Their web site doesn't seem to have the basic pedal available but they should have it. Total cost should be around $10.

If you play on carpet and that pedal slips around too much, go to a crafts store and pick up some Velcro with sticky sides, and stick plastic hook part of the strip to the bottom of the pedal. It should stay put or move very little during a song.

I got a keyboard sustain pedal for around $10 that works really well from Guitar Center. I kept the box, too, so if I find it I can get the brand name.

i made a time crisis pedal that i'm pretty sure works with DM. if you want to make your own, just let me know. Then again, 10 dollars isn't that much to spend for a pedal.

hmm i guess the pedal isn't the question but what size jack fits into the controller. so that would be a RCA phono or something? i have a keyboard pedal but the jack is too small to fit into the topway controller.

Rakar, which is the pedal from guitar center? does it fit into the controller or do u need an adapter?

you need an RCA phono adapter, just like the ones on your AV cables for the playstation. just bring the pedal to radio shack, and they'll find you the right plug.

try any electronics store.

I mean I was about to do what you are doing for the same reason, but I got a beatmania right handed piano key controller that came with a pedal, so i just ise that, and it feels like a normal Drummania medal as well.
