Default Traditional Grip

Does anyone ever tried traditional grip on drummania? I'm sorry if I'm being all "technical", but I'm curious if anyone have actual hold their sticks that way during the game.

Of course, I haven't tried it yet, until I go out and play on the crappy drummania 4th Mix machine in Action Territory.

I've seen dudabo (dunno what his username is on BMS, if he's even registered here) play traditional at TGA and make it look good.

It's quite usable, but there may just be some cymbal/hi-hat patterns that'll be rough to play.

Yah, oni-ice, I agree about the part how the grip is use properly. From what I experience from using traditional grip, if you use this grip a lot, your hands will start to refuse the regular grip that every drummer mostly use *cough* match grip. It just comes natural once you get use to the grip.

The only thing that would break you groove is the crossovers with the toms, snare, and hit-hat pads, but I totally dig with the hi-hat and snare patterns: life gets so much easier from there.
