USB Xbox GH controller (any) Vs PS2 connectivity, possible??

Yeah, is this possible, can an xbox/360 GH USB controller work with Guitar Freaks for ps2.

I understand that the ps2 has a two USB slots, I am just wondering if anyone has tried this.

Nope, PS2 games will not recognize USB input for a controller unless they're specifically designed for it (See Keyboardmania and Drummania). It's a shame it doesn't work, because it'd make things a ton easier; but since Konami didn't make the GF controllers USB based, there's no way you can get a USB controller to work for it.

that sucks, but could you delete and or lock this thread then, that really suck that Konami didnt do that, why the hell cant they just make everything ASC. Then this way they can get lots of money from us, so what if certain games are popular in Japan.

Well the thing is, the PS2 USB has next to no purpose. Apart from KBM and using it for a Yamaha MIDI drumkit, I can think of only a handful of games that use it for anything. And out of those, maybe one of them uses it for something good. It's more cost effective to make controllers work through the PS2 controller port rather than bother with the USB side of it, especially when you can make it work without the need of the USB port.
