Well the thing is, the PS2 USB has next to no purpose. Apart from KBM and using it for a Yamaha MIDI drumkit, I can think of only a handful of games that use it for anything. And out of those, maybe one of them uses it for something good. It's more cost effective to make controllers work through the PS2 controller port rather than bother with the USB side of it, especially when you can make it work without the need of the USB port.
